Your personal garden coach for the Pacific Northwest.
Your Yard Deserves Better Than Guesswork.
You love your yard—or at least the idea of it. But between overgrown beds, mystery plants, and changing seasons, it’s easy to feel lost. As an OSU Certified Master Gardener, that’s where we come in.
We’re not landscapers.
We’re your personal outdoor living guide.
Whether your dream yard is wild, structured, or serene, we help bring it to life in a way that works with your schedule, your yard, and your local climate.
Native & Water-wise Design: Save money and water with drought-resistant plants that thrive in our PNW climate.
Wildlife Habitats: Turn your yard into a vibrant, chemical-free sanctuary for birds and pollinators.
Edible Integrations: Grow your own food with confidence—minus the guesswork and garden stress.
Outdoor Living: Reclaim your space with a functional layout designed for hosting, rest, and recharging.
Most people feel
Overwhelmed in
Their own yards.
“What do I do with this overgrown bed?”

“Is it time to cut this back-or rip it out?”
“I want it to look good… I just don’t know how”
You don’t need a “degree in horticulture”.
You just need a partner who does.

about
Garden Consulting
I’m Alli, and I help homeowners bridge the gap between "overwhelmed" and "expertly cared for." As an OSU Certified Master Gardener, I’ve spent years obsessing over the unique soil, climate, and plant life of the Portland area.
I started Garden Consulting because I believe outdoor living should be a source of restoration, not a growing list of chores. Whether we are identifying mystery shrubs or planning a native habitat, my goal is to give you the confidence to make the right choices for your space.
We combine thoughtful design with practical systems:
Native & Climate-Adapted Plants: Selecting varieties that actually want to live here.
Low-Input Soil Practices: Building garden health from the ground up without harsh chemicals.
Layered, Evolving Beds: Designing landscapes that grow more beautiful (and easier to manage) over time.
It’s not just about the plants
It’s about helping you become more confident and connected gardener.
Stop second-guessing every plant decision.
Learn to recognize what your yard is telling you.
Avoid costly mistakes.
Enjoy a yard that grows better year after year.
