Small business real talk moment: Who here feels like you need a little bit of motivation? What if it's not actually motivation you need, but something else? On days when I feel like I need motivation, I'm discovering that if I look a little bit closer, deeper, there is usually something else going on. Because I don't need motivation. I do this 👆 for a living (💐). It's fun, interesting, definitely never boring. And I have motivation up to my ears. 🌱⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Because when I am truly just a bit tired, or dragging, I know what music to play, oils to diffuse, lists to pull out to get me moving. 🌱⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So when it feels like I need motivation, what's really going on is probably related to that often present, always destructive creative biz owner problem of FEAR. Anyone know what I'm talking about? 🌱⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Yeah. That thing. What are you fears that creep into your business days and suck away your energy, productivity, confidence? Fear of not being good enough, not making enough money to pay the bills, not making the right decision, not doing your taxes right, not working enough on your business, not keeping your relationships up, the list goes on, right? Where does it hurt you most? And what do you do about it? 🌱⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Having your own business is fun, but it's also not for the faint of heart. So, shout out to all you crazy amazing people who keep on keeping on! Your perseverance is a beautiful encouragement to me ✨💚✨ 🌱

It is my heart's desire this week for us all to really SEE. I know it's trendy to talk about being "present" and in the moment. But without being able to see inside yourself and truly see what and who is around you, being present is nothing but a tool for focusing on work. There is so much more going on around us at any given moment than we realize. Life is incredible! And Spring is the perfect time to meditate on the gift we have been given by being alive today.
