Last night, after a relatively exhausting day for each of us, Josh (the husband) and I flopped down on a chair and the floor, respectively, and decided not to cook. Thankfully we had a stockpile of leftovers in the fridge.
This morning came, very dark and dreary (at least I’m pretty sure it’s morning), and in need of fresh flowers.
So I grabbed my shower leftovers and remade them. One thing I love about floral design is that it is not static - the designs are alive and constantly changing. Today, a week after I picked up the flowers, I still have some that have only just started blooming. So I dumped out the wilted flowers, and voila! (This is also in part tribute to how fabulous vintage and antique containers are and how much they add to simple designs.)
Happy friday, friends!
